Dr. B.R Shetty, founder and chief executive of NMC Health, got up close and personal at the Emirates NBD Global Business Series.

Dr. Shetty stated his parents were his mentors and their dedication and desire to work for the community’s development is very strongly instilled in him. After sharing some really insightful examples of how Dr. Shetty started his journey, he also advised all fellow SMEs in the audience that “you don’t need money to start a business” – all you have to have is full faith in yourself, be straightforward and loyal to all your efforts.

In closing Dr. Shetty believes in leaving behind a legacy of his own and would like to be remembered as a good human being and a philanthropist.
